How can i creat an indian theme in my bedroom?

I'm re-decorating my room, and want to go for an indian themed style, but i'm finding it quite tricky as i don't have a clue how to go about doing it or where to find inspiration.

The first thing you should do is gather inspiration for your bedroom. Scout the internet for design ideas & print them out. Spend a couple of hours in a bookstore looking through books and magazines about design and take pictures of the ideas you love. You can gather all of this information to create an inspiration board, where you can sort through your ideas and form a more concrete image of your room.

I found a useful internet resource that you can start with:

Another great design scheme is Moroccan interior decorating. It has many of the same rich colours and textures as indian designs. Here are some internet resources on Moroccan decor:

Good luck decorating!

first things first get lots of indian things in your bedroom such as: a huge sombrero, a cactus, a big map of mexico, and some menus from your local mexican restaurants
